Managing Inventory
BiziNus keeps a live count of what's on your shelves. Add items once, and stock updates automatically every time you record a sale or purchase.
Add an item
Open My Stock from the menu.
Tap Add Item and enter the name, selling price and current stock quantity.
Optionally add a buying cost and a reorder point (see below).
Save. The item now appears in your price list and is selectable when recording sales.
Track stock levels
Every recorded sale reduces stock and every purchase increases it — you never update counts by hand. The My Stock screen shows each item's current quantity at a glance.
Set reorder points
A reorder point is the minimum quantity you want to keep before re-ordering. Set it per item in the item's details.
- Example: if you sell 10 packets of tea a day, set the reorder point to
30so you're warned before you run out. - When stock drops to or below this number, BiziNus flags the item.
Low-stock alerts
When any item's stock is at or below its reorder point, BiziNus shows a low-stock alert on your dashboard (e.g. “⚠️ 3 items are low on stock”). Tap it to jump straight to the items that need re-ordering.
Stock value
On BiziNus Pro, the inventory screen shows the total value of your stock (quantity × cost), giving you a clear picture of the money sitting on your shelves. Free users see stock counts; Pro unlocks the value tracking.
